Occasionally, when scanning the fourth roll of film for the day, I ask myself why I still go through the trouble of shooting analog when it’d be so much cheaper and easier to join the masses and shoot digital. Then I get a frame like this one, photographed on a 6x17 camera when I forgot to advance the roll before taking the picture and I remember why I love working with a medium which still allows me to screw up and blesses me with an image like this.
The Portland 405 bridge at sunset and the Columbia river at sunrise, taken a few days apart.
